First Line Management
Aims & Objectives
The ILM First Line Management qualification aims to provide you with an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills both in the workplace and in a structured learning environment.
The primary objectives of this programme are to:
- Improve management performance through flexible learning
- Enhance functional management skills
- Harness leadership potential
Entry Requirements
Participants will normally be either practicing or aspiring first line managers. There are no formal education requirements, although participants should have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme..
On completing the programme you will have:
- Acquired general and basic knowledge and understanding of the key roles within the managerial process, especially those who are ‘first line managers'
- Identified your own personal strengths and limitations, and will have acquired the confidence to take charge of your own growth and development
- Linked your own development with the achievements of your rganisational goals
Qualification
Successful candidates will receive a Certificate in First Line Management awarded by ILM.
