80% of test purchasing operations conducted by the police failed to abide by the licensing law in South Wales due to the underage sales of alcohol, tobacco and other age restricted products.
If any staff are caught selling age restricted products to anyone underage they will receive an £80 on the spot fine. The owner/license holder of the establishment can be fined up to £5,000 and or a prison sentence, unless they can provide evidence of training and understanding of the licensing laws. Also the license can be revoked.
TLC can provide you with all the training evidence you require to apply with the licensing law with our underage sales prevention course .
The course can all be completed in your own time scale TLC will put no time limits on when you have to complete the course. A workbook will be supplied to you by TLC when you are comfortable with the information, TLC will book your test and you will have completed your underage sales prevention course. If you do not successfully pass the test TLC will re-schedule a second test for free.
