Staff
Our Training Advisors are working towards or hold minimum qualifications of A1 and Key Skills at Level 2. Internal Verifiers hold minimum qualifications of V1. All teaching staff have a range of backgrounds and expertise in the Retail and Business Sectors and are actively encouraged to continue gaining qualifications and regularly return to the workplace to keep their practical knowledge and skills up to date. All teaching staff are expected to attend monthly standardisations and Team Briefings.
Staff are also routinely vetted through the Criminal Records Bureau to ensure the safety of our learners and employers.
Quality Assurance
Everything we do is monitored, through observation and feedback, and reviewed on an annual basis to make sure that we keep the high standards that we set ourselves.
A series of questionnaires are sent to learners, employers and partners asking them to comment on how well TLC delivers its service, to ensure that we keep in touch with their views and make changes that improve their experience of us.
The Training & Learning Company is also monitored and audited externally by The Learning Skills Council, Ofstead Inspectorate and our Awarding Bodies. TLC have robust Internal Auditing Policies that ensure all of our learners gain the best learning experience possible and are treated equally.
