Visits from families, friends and the local community are an essential part of daily life in care homes. But during lockdown, care homes are now constantly looking for easy and safe ways to keep residents connected with loved ones.
With all care homes accepting no visitors, the effects of being cut off from the world can be worrying and heart-breaking for residents and families alike.
We're giving free access to a vital communication hub that will enable families to stay updated with care residents during coronavirus lockdown. We are also giving away brand new tablets to help care homes access the Care Hub.
The easy to use portal allows families to stay connected with their loved ones. The hub will offer daily updates for families and care homes to easily upload and treasure memories forever. This will help care home residents who miss out on visits stay connected while families and friends remain updated about the day-to-day wellbeing of their loved ones.
The Care Hub allows users to upload social media style videos, images and voice notes that are easily accessed by the care homes for the residents.
“We know how vital it is for people to stay in touch with their friends and relatives during this challenging time. We quickly thought of ways to offer services freely and securely to those who need to keep in contact with loved ones in care homes.”
“Keeping loved ones connected has never been more important and we’re pleased to help connect people during this lockdown period. We hope this free portal helps as many as possible within the care industry” says John Allison, director of TLC.
All content uploaded to the hub can be accessed 24/7 and is stored safely and securely.
If you are interested in utilising CareHub please don't hesitate to get in touch, we would love to hear from you. Email email@example.com or fill in our contact form.
All Care Homes that sign up to you use the platform will go into a draw* to win a tablet for your Care Home, to help bridge the gap in communication between families and your residents.
