Anaphylaxis and Auto Injector Administration

Overview

Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction that can have fatal consequences. This qualification is particularly useful for anyone who spends a significant amount of time with someone who may suffer from anaphylaxis or anaphylactic shock due to a severe allergy, and covers a range of skills including: scene assessment, CPR, and using current AAI’s.

Course Objectives

The aim of the qualification is to equip learners with the knowledge, skill and confidence to identify, treat and stabilise a casualty suffering with Anaphylactic Shock.
