Overview

Autism is a diverse and mystifying condition that has been the focus of much scientific research over the last few decades. There are about 700,000 people in the UK who live with the condition. Despite the high number of individuals that are likely to have the condition, many of us have a poor understanding of autism and what it actually means for both the individual and those who work and live with them.

Course Objectives

Whether you are looking to make a career out of helping autistic people or just want to prepare yourself better for being accommodating to people suffering from autism, this half day course is designed to give you the fundamental knowledge and skills to assist the autistic community.
