As one of the most challenging areas for Health & Social Care workers, this training is designed to improve the care delivered by care staff at the end of life, both in care homes and in the wider community, while promoting sensitive and appropriate approaches to the final stages of life.
This half day course aims to help staff to recognise the signs associated with someone who may be nearing the end of life, and to be aware of the specialist services that can be accessed in their locality.
