This half day (3 hour) course covers relevant information needed to understand the impact of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs) on the care sector, care workers, services users and advocates.

This half day course is designed to enable you to understand Mental Health Law alongside conditions for Decision-Making within the boundaries of the MCA, and recognise the link between The Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding.
