Sensory Loss Awareness

Overview

Sensory Awareness Training provides participants with a greater awareness of the physical, emotional and practical impact of living with a sensory loss. More effort should be made to raise awareness of the practical and emotional impact of having sensory loss.

Course Objectives

This half day course is aimed at individuals likely to come into contact with people diagnosed with sensory loss within their working lives such as those employed within social care and health. The content is designed to improve awareness of difficulties and barriers frequently encountered.
