This training course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and understanding of fire safety in the workplace. The course focuses primarily on fire prevention, but also covers detection and approved firefighting methods. This course does not however, provide you with occupational competence in using firefighting equipment as there is no practical assessment.

Understand and identify fire detection equipment
Understand how you can contribute to restricting smoke and fire spread
Understand fire classification
Understand how to extinguish a fire using the correct fire extinguisher
