Terms of website use
The terms that apply when you use tlc-uk.org.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. These terms
These terms apply to your use of tlc-uk.org (“the site”). By using the site you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it. Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy explain how we use personal data and cookies and form part of these terms.
2. Who we are
The site is operated by Impact Learning & Data Solutions Limited, trading as The Training and Learning Company, a company registered in England and Wales under number 05526370, registered office Axis 19, Axis Court, Mallard Way, Riverside Business Park, Swansea Vale, Swansea SA7 0AJ. Contact: enquiries@tlc-uk.org, 01792 700611.
3. Using the site
You may view, print and download pages for your own information and for considering our programmes for yourself, your organisation or someone you support. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our written permission; alter any content; use the site in any way that is unlawful or that could damage or impair it; or use automated tools to scrape or extract content.
4. Intellectual property
The text, design, photographs, films, guides and other material on the site are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The marks of awarding organisations, Ofsted, matrix and our partners are used with their permission and under their rules; the Marco Pierre White marks are the property of MPW Culinary Academy Ltd.
5. Programme and funding information
The site describes our programmes and apprenticeship funding in general terms, for information. Apprenticeship standards, funding rules, eligibility and employer contributions are set by government and change; the rules in force when a programme is agreed apply. Nothing on the site is an offer, a guarantee of a place, or advice tailored to you. Programmes are provided under separate written agreements with the apprentice and the employer, and these terms do not form part of those agreements.
6. Policies and guides
The policies published on the site are the current approved versions at the date shown on each; where a policy is marked under review or draft, the previous approved version applies until the new one is ratified. Guides and resources are general information, not legal or professional advice.
7. Links
The site links to other organisations’ websites — government services, awarding organisations, job boards and partners. We do not control them, a link is not an endorsement, and their own terms and privacy notices apply.
8. Our liability
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses, or that its content is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
9. Changes
We may change the site and these terms at any time; the version on the site when you use it applies.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the site.
