Raise a concern

Report a safeguarding concern

If you are worried about a learner, or about anyone connected with TLC, tell us the same day. You do not need to be certain and it is never your job to investigate. We would always rather hear about something that turns out to be nothing.

What happens next

Who reads it, and when you’ll hear

  1. It goes straight to the right person

Your report goes to the safeguarding mailbox, safeguarding@tlc-uk.org, which is read only by our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Clair Pepper, the Deputy DSL, Suzanne Bonds, and the Managing Director.

  2. You get a reference number

As soon as you send the form you will see a reference, and we email it to you if you have given us an address. Quote it whenever you contact us about this.

  3. We act the same day

The Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy will review your concern and act on it the same working day. They may contact you for more detail, so please give us a way to reach you.

Rather talk? Call 01792 700611, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and ask for the Designated Safeguarding Lead. The full process is in SLW-01 on our Policies page.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. This form is read during office hours. For anything that cannot wait, call 01792 700611 and ask for the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
